I would like to start off this entry by sending out my prayers and condolences to the family and friends of Delvonte Tisdale.
I came across this article earlier today courtesy of frequent blog and idea contributor @Nunnzdaname and it pissed me off, take a look:
http://www.boston.com/news/local/breaking_news/2010/11/massport_invest.html
Now I clicked this link thinking there was something substantive to the story of the mutilated body found in Milton, MA last week. Unfortunately, I read this ridiculous story and all I can say is Dear Mass Media, please stop insulting my intelligence. A 16 year old boy was found mutilated beyond recognition and the airport authority is investigating to see if he could have fell out of a fucking plane, and this is breaking news? The writer mentions that the investigation is ongoing on a number of fronts, and the story that we get to read is one about a boy sneaking on a flight as a stowaway on a in the landing gear compartment with the wheels, then when compartment opened to land over Milton airspace heading towards Runway 4R and he fell to his death frozen because that compartment of the plane is not pressurized. That's the dumbest most far fetched shit I've ever heard in my life and its because we take the shit they feed us on the news as the truth.
The sad truth is much more practical, like an axe murder who dumped the body of his victim far from the scene of the crime, or God forbid, this is the type of crime you see when a large debt is owed, or drug/street violence. But instead the suits in these war rooms decide to repeatedly insult our intelligence as human beings with extraordinary tales they call news. Few months back when 4 people were murdered in Mattapan I heard an anchor say "they run out of the house naked to flee the gunman and were found shot outside the home" no you fucking liar, they stripped and executed. Newspapers, networks, mass media conglomerates, heed the message, tell us the truth, or shut up while I find it on my own.

Letter to the Sistas...(orgin unknown)
Came across this via one of my homies, its a good read, with good points and I agree 100% with the author tell me what yall think
"This is so "true"
When I first heard of the movie "For Colored Girls" I got so excited. I had the idea of getting as many women together that I could think of to go see this movie. I had visions of group discussions and moments shared with one another that would lead to healing and growth, I guess I kind of imagined a Women's Empowerment Conference type of setting. Well after I shared my idea with a few women, reality set in andI realized that so many of us wouldn't be willing to participate for various reasons: You don't like me, you don't care for somebody I might invite, you only hang out with certain people, you don't understand the big deal about Tyler Perry making yet another movie about black people and our issues for all the world to see, you don't like crowds, so n so is too ghetto, such and such is too uppity etc... It has ALWAYS amazed me that we as black women are each others biggest critics. We are the quickest to bring each other down, find each others faults and nit pick at a sister until she has nothing left, nothing left to give and then we step over her and call her worthless. We take the prettiest women and tear them down for thinking"they are cute" but turn around and dog the average sista because "she know she should take better care of herself than that - can't believe she got a man!" We call strong women female dogs and accuse weaker women of riding somebody else's coat tails. We tell a big sista to put down her burger and turn around and criticize a skinny woman for not picking one up. We ride the loud mouth woman for "talking to darn much" and likewise torment the quiet woman for "Being too quiet and needing to take up for herself" Sad part is we don't discriminate, we talk about everybody!!! I've watched women dog out everybody from Oprah for catering to white people and Halle Berry for not being able to keep a man to young Willow Smith for acting to darn grown in her recent video. All of these females are successful and there is something about each one of them to be proud of but a lot of us can't seem to see that. I have to wonder since we all share a common thread (whether we want to admit it or not) is there something about ourselves that we don't like, what has happened to us that we cannot seem to get along. Why is that we fight amongst ourselves, back stab & steal each others men(only to find out we should have left him where we found him). We cannot seem to be unified to support and stick up for one another. Everybody seems to be out for themselves while other groups unite against us but nobody else has to bring us down because we trample on the spirits of each other daily. Even if you live in a mini mansion, drive a luxury car, have good credit, rich handsome husband etc, this does not mean that should look down your nose at the woman with 4 kids, no husband, living in income based housing struggling to keep her lights on. We ALWAYS think the grass is greener on the other side, I had a woman who's child father is MIA tell me that I Should never complain because I receive a decent amount of child support and I laughed and let her know that I would gladly give every dime back if he would come relieve some of this overwhelming pressure of feeling inadequate as a parent. If I could get just one full night of sleep or not always be on the verge of losing my job because I'm the one that has to call off or leave work for one reason or another to accommodate my child -yeah he could DEFINITELY have his money if I could have some peace! Money alone doesn't make you happy (not true happiness), good credit doesn't keep you satisfied, beauty doesn't make you any less insecure, fame doesn't make you less vulnerable or cause you to be a good judge of character and being stuck up and mean doesn't keep you warm at night or prevent you from being lonely. You don't know how the sista sitting right next to could have carefully put on her make up this morning to hide the beating from last night. The teacher you handed your child over to this morning could have sent her children off to school from a dark house with empty bellies. The teller you just got rude with at the bank could know that today is her last day on her job and have no idea how she is going to survive past next weekend. The sista at the office that appears so busy could be typing her goodbyes to all the people that she loves because she plans to blow her brains out tonight after she tucks her babies into bed. The woman you pass in the hallway could be on her way to have an abortion because she fears what others might think or how the woman that sent you this e-mail may drink an over abundance of alcohol every night to mask the nightmares of an abusive childhood. Ladies we HAVE TO DO BETTER!!! I'm not suggesting that we all like each other and be phony, But I am asking that we all try to respect each other. You HAVE NO IDEA what the next woman is going through, you don't know what past or current hurt and pains have shaped her into who she is today. We spend so much time trying to be as strong and hard as we are expected to be that we end up cracking from the inside out piece by piece. If we would spend 1/3 of the time we spend tearing each other down to build someone up,encourage someone, show someone some love, we could truly make a difference and save someones life. PLEASE don't be the straw that breaks another woman's back. Believe me when I tell you that there is a woman out there that needs your smile, your hug, your support, your prayer. I hope that you read this and get something out of it other than a laugh and that you pass this on to as many women as you can to let someone know that you believe they are somebody special and that if need be you are available to listen. Nothing bad is going to happen if you don't forward this e-mail but I'd like to think that something positive will happen if you choose to pass it along. May favor be extended to each and everyone of your lives, keep your head up and know that someone somewhere cares!!! Know that I appreciate you all and love you. Let's share this with the ladies (young and seasoned) in our lives and love each other as GOD's precious creation. Have a happy and safe holiday!" - Author Unknown

Still Chuckin & Jivin
I cant stand Flava mother fucking Flav! This coon continues to offend me more and more. I wanna know how you can go from fighting the power with Chuck D and Public Enemy to this shit. Flav is responsible for a lotta fucked up shit we watch on TV right now. He's the first "reality show star" I can point to that spawned the ignorant buffoonery VH1 shows America on a nightly basis. That networks reality programming department owes its existence to this clown. He started off on one of VH1's post superstar shows and he's let his ignorant nigger-dom for lack of a better term to carry him to the top of the house nigger entertainment industry. I'm convinced that if there is a camera anywhere around Flav he will proceed to act a complete ass and embarrass black people until the camera goes off. So its one thing to tap for the white puppet masters at VH1, I mean I'm not at all surprised at a minstrel show actor like Flav to do black face shit for a check, but now he's crossed the line. Now this buffoon is taking his brand into the consumer world by trying to sell us his own brand of liquor and fried chicken. No for real, the poster boy niggers, is doing more nigger shit and he needs to be stopped. I feel like next will be Flav pushing his own brand of pistol holsters next. We all know that his good friends at VH1 won't be buy FFC (Flava Fried Chicken. I'm not kidding, check out the story on this site http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/news/id.13041/title.flavor-flav-to-launch-fried-chicken-franchise-and-liquor-line.) or his bubble gum flavored vodka. I try not to wish harm on anyone, but I also think people should get treated they way they deserved to be treated, with that said, I vote to tar and feather this coon for crimes against the advancement of black people as a race. Do me a favor, please ignore the hell out of Flava Flav and let us all hope this coon fades into obscurity.
Bros Before Hoes
Whats good world. I'm getting right into it today. Earlier this week it was reported that Steve Nash's wife filed for divorce the day after having their child, talk about cold blooded, wonder how much $ she's gonna ask for to help her and their new child maintain their standard of living (If its that easy, I need rich wife i can marry and divorce so I can start collecting.) Then a day later I heard that Eva Longoria of Desperate Housewives was divorcing her NBA husband Tony Parker. First thing that popped in my head was "damn, must not be cool to be an NBA wife anymore", but in fact, something way worse was going on.
Apparently Parker had been having an affair with his former teammate's wife. Yeah, dude he hooped with for 4 years, planes trips, bus rides, all that teammate stuff, and turns around and takes down his teammate's wife. I don't know whats cool in France and what isn't, but c'mon man, you cannot be fucking your former teammate's wife. What ever happened to bros before hoes? Now it appears that Tony's teammate Brent Barry and Tony's side bitch Erin Barry are in the midst of a divorce. It hasn't yet been reported on whether Tony and Erin's affair was going on while Tony and Brent were teammates from 04-08 or not, and it really doesn't matte when it happened. Men have a set of unwritten rules we abide by, Man Laws if you will. One of those laws is you don't fuck with ya homie's ex under any circumstances, that shit is unacceptable. You definitely don't take down another man's wife. And not for nothing, anyone seen Erin Barry? I mean lets call a spade a spade here folks, Erin Barry isn't a looker, she doesn't look better than Eva, and I'm sure Tony could ride through Texas, or fucking Paris for that matter if he's looking for a side bitch. Anything and anyone but ya teammate's wife man, that's low, Tony Parker is on some absolute sucka shit and needs his ass whopped behind this shit.

40 Reasons why Black Women are Beautiful
Got this link off my homegirl *Mrs. Boss's* blog ( no relation) Its Your World, check it out, she's a dope writer and her words will be in the pages of ya favorite magazine one day. But on to the matter at hand, this is a solid list overall...I guess. But its sprinkled with a few kinda arbitrary reasosn, that while maybe inspiring, aren't really reasons why black women are beatiful and furthermore some of these reasons really aren't true lol. What yall think?

Cleveland, Ohio aka Bitterville, U.S.A.
Cleveland, I don't know yall, never been there, but I'm at a loss right now. I'm trying to figure out what got these people so bitter about LeBron. This "Quitness" viral/ commerical has been me at a loss. for those of you that haven't seen it here's the link (Quitness video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvgD9HNTMkM). I mean this is just sad. Is the city of Cleveland really that desperate? Players leave teams and cities all the time. Great players leave mediocre teams routinely. So I can't understand what made these delusional people think LeBron would stay there. Now I'm not a LeBron sympathizer, but I don't think he chose to put that city on his back, they hoped on thinking they were always welcome.
The actors who represent Cleveland citizens mention words like traitor. Really? I mean, LeBron isn't from Cleveland, he's from Akron. So he's not exactly the hometown boy doing for the home team. He wore Yankees apparel to a Cleveland Indians game during the playoffs for crying out loud. As a matter of fact the only instance when I remember LeBron being the Cleveland poster child was a marketing hatched by Nike. Nike put up the Witness posters of LeBron over abandoned buildings, They gave t-shirts to the Cavs fans at games, and essentially are responsible for gassing Cleveland fans into believing he was a Messiah they needed to follow. At no last season did Lebron ever indicate he was staying in Cleveland. In fact, all year he deflected free agency questions. All he said is he was gonna explore free agency. His Rise commercial which caused such a stir and was spoofed by these Cleveland people is actually a good commercial. He basically looks his critics in the eye and says "Fuck yall!" Frankly, I like it. Its no different from all his other shoe commercials that feature heavy doses of HIM lol. He played out his contract, and played his ass off every night. And did it on a team that refused to get him adequate help. The Decision, was done in bad taste. Bad p.r., but typical LeBron, who is as self absorbed and self conscious as any professional athlete in the modern era. Bottom line, Cleveland, no one likes when people play the victim, get over it. The video sucks and doesn't cast anyone in a bad light except yourselves.

Missed a Week
Back on my blogging shit yall, missed yall. Lotta things happening over the last 9 days since and I haven't had a chance to put pen to paper or fingers to keys.
Off top we'll touch on the importance of yesterday's election. Twitter fb and I'm sure all the other social networks were flooded with rhetoric about the importance of voting and what to vote for. Now although I play at being a clown all the time, I am well aware of the or the social economic and political plight that we all share as Americans. Now whether our votes count or matter is a completely different issue, but there is no excuse for being uninformed on what the machine in this country is doing. One cannot complain about a flawed system if one does not at least try to participate in it before lamenting how broken the political system is. Further more I find it irresponsible to vote while being uninformed. All that being said, I now want to speak to the young men and women who take these issues seriously, be vigilant. Too often we (myself included) are active and aggressive in attentive to our politicians around election time when they are trying to get our votes. Meanwhile they coast under the radar during their terms in office hiding behind political lines and red tape, and in my District's case, getting caught taking bribes through "Preacher's handshakes". I am going to ,make an effort to play closer attention to our elected officials during their terms of service and hold them accountable as policies are being made instead of retroactively being critical of votes and decisions made months prior. Lastly, Politics is serious business, so please do not trivialize the efforts of those trying to make change in our world by pretending to be interested in politics around election time because Diddy made Voting trendy.
Next order of business, my last posting was an NBA preview, thus far my Lakeshow has been impressive as have Celtics, and the Heat- despite their opening night stumble against Gang Green. But the season is still young, so be on the lookout for Position breakdowns, the leagues top players, after Hoops is what I do. But the sports world is a buzz with something I think is way more relevant and that is whats been going on in Minnesota. A few weeks back the Vikings acquired Randy Moss from the New England Patriots. Figuring teaming him up with attention whore and ESPN publicist client Brett Farve would help resuscitate a franchise that has bent over backwards for the 41 year old QB.
Lets start with Moss. No secret he's had his issues, but be clear, this man is a Hall of Fame receiver, and in today's day and age of professional athletes that's usually par for the course. Irving Friar, Chris Carter, and Michael Irvin are current NFL hall of famers who had their share of character issues in the past. Moss has never been criminally convicted of anything, his run ins with the law include bumping a police officer with his car at a traffic stop. When questioned about his fine for the offense, he said he'd pay for it in "straight ash homie". White folks couldn't have liked that. Now the charges of him quitting on his team and being a baby are legitimate. He has done some selfish things in his day and has not always been a team player. That's inexcusable, but his punishments definitely do not fit his crimes. Moss has been painted as a villain his entire career, Minnesota, Oakland (where no one has excelled except for Darren McFadden this season), and his final season in New England. In a week where the media were trying to bait him into fanning flames about his return to Foxboro, the embattleled Moss wanted nothing more than to be left alone as his emotions were all a stir. Instead, he was fined $25,000 by the NFL for not being accessible to the media as the league mandates. To combat that Moss promised that we would conduct his own interviews to the media for the remainder of the season. This would fulfill his media obligations to the league while giving him some control on what is written about him. I also think it was a big "fuck you" to the NFL. In turn he was waived by the Vikings. The Vikings say it was his post game love fest for New England that caused head coach Brad Childress to pull the trigger. BULLSHIT! Be clear, Childress is a lame duck coach, and should be fired as soon as the Vikings are mathematically eliminated from any post season contention. Childress has grossly mismanaged that entire team because of his man crush on Farve. Childress thought Moss would revive his dying team. When that didn't happen he took the cowardly and easy way out by releasing him under false pretenses. This coward of a coach also threw his man crush Farve under the bus two weeks ago by criticizing his quarterback's bad decisions in a postgame interview. Now Moss is the topic of another story On ESPN because of a Coward's inability to face the music. I have the utmost sympathy for Moss who has been living under a microscope during his entire NFL career. His time in New England he proved capable of being a god teammate and citizen. Its bad enough that most of the professional athletes are discarded by their teams once their production slips. That's though of as a business decision. But when the field hands go public about wanting to be paid their worth they become selfish and not team oriented. I agree with Moss, loyalty i something to be earned, not given, and to whoever the next suitor is for Moss be warned, treat him the way you want him to treat your franchise.
By the way, if there's anything yall want me to touch on please leave your suggestions in the comments. Forward the blog to anyone who'll read it all feedback is good feedback. See yall soon
